STATE OF HAWAIʻI TO OFFER ON-SITE APPLICATION SCREENING AND INTERVIEW SCHEDULING FOR SELECT STATE POSITIONS AT THE HAWAIʻI TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION HOLIDAY TECH JOB FAIR

HONOLULU — The Hawaiʻi Technology Development Corporation (HTDC) will host its 23rd Annual Holiday Tech Job Fair on Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Entrepreneurs Sandbox.
This year’s fair will feature careers in the fields of engineering, technology and defense. Public and private sector employers will be present to discuss their various career and internship opportunities. Job seekers will have the opportunity to network directly with employers, industry leaders, receive free resume evaluations, free AI-generated headshots and specialized training information.
The state of Hawaiʻi Department of Human Resources Development (DHRD) will be a featured employer at the event with other state agencies – Accounting and General Services (DAGS), Health (DOH), Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), and Transportation (DOT). On-site application and screening for Information Technology (IT) Band B and Engineer I – V positions will be made available for interested applicants. Qualified applicants will have the opportunity to speak with department program staff and schedule interviews.
To be considered for on-site screening, attending applicants will need to complete the state’s online civil service application and provide a copy of their current resume and college/university transcript, if applicable.
